Territory: 56.538 km 2

Capital city: Zagreb

Population: 4,78 million

Climate: mediterranean, number of sunshine hours is 2.600 on average

The temperature of the sea: 17 C in May, 20 C in June, 25 C in July, 26 C in August, 23 C in September

Language: Croatian. On the beach Italian, English and German is mostly spoken.

National currency: kuna. 1 EUR = 7.5 kuna, 1 kuna = 35 HUF.

Drinking water: Tap water can be consumed all over the country, there are no special medical regulations.

Southern-Dalmatia: Budapest-Nagykanizsa-Letenye-Zagreb-Bosiljevo-Gospić-Dugopolje-Split-Dubrovnic

Motorway toll: Goričan-Zagreb: 36 kuna, Zagreb-Rijeka: 56 kuna, Učka tunnel: 25 kuna, Krk Bridge: 15 kuna, Goričan-Senj: 89 kuna, Goričan-Zadar: 145 kuna, Goričan- Š ibenik: 170 kuna, Goričan-Split: 193 kuna

 

You should definitely take the check-in sheet of Judit Tours. Copies are not accepted anywhere. Children under 16 years can cross the border only with the official permission of both parents.

Upon crossing the border passports must be valid for at least 6 more months, according to the new regulations, the former and new type of identity cards are also valid above 18 years.

In case of travelling by own car, having a green card is compulsory, international passport is not necessary.

 

Accident, Illness and Luggage Insurance can be taken for a further fee in our agency (Allianz Hungaria).

 

Canceling insurance can be taken.

 

Opening hours: offices: 7-14, supermarkets: 6-20, post office and bank: 7-20 (open also on Saturday morning).

 

Phone calls: from Hungary to Croatia: 00 385, from Croatia to Hungary: 00 (no need to wait for the international sign) 36 (Hungary), and the adaquate prefix. Phone card is sold at the post offices. Mobile phones can be used all over Croatia.
